Double Bass - Twice the fun!
The Scottish Bass Trust is hosting a Double Bass
workshop for all ages and all abilities.
Saturday, June 1st 2024
10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
St Serfs Church Centre
1A Clark Road, Edinburgh
EH5 3BD (on-road parking free)
Players will be divided into beginners, intermediate and advanced groups and will be coached by Nikita Naumov, Jamie Kenny and Stewart Wilson. Andrew Robb will provide jazz for those who wish. The day will include warm up sessions, technique sessions, orchestral excerpts and playing together sessions. The event will end with a recital by Nikita, Jamie, Stewart and Andrew at 4 p.m. Full day fee, including recital, £30. Students are free. Parents are welcome to come along, entry by donation.
